Strength and Balance

Try one of our community strength and balance classes for mature audiences. These classes will help with your overall balance and strength enabling fall prevention.

At Work – a serious business

We have the expertise to help you prevent workplace injuries - even in the riskiest work environments. If you have staff that sit all day or stand all day, do repetitive work, lift heavy loads or do a lot of bending and twisting, then they are most certainly at risk of injury (acute or degenerative), discomfort, pain and fatigue.

Cancer Rehabilitation

The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Programmes are dedicated to improving the strength, quality of life and sense of wellbeing in women & men diagnosed with cancer.  

Breathing Optimisation

Physiotherapists can help people with asthma by helping them to breathe in a more relaxed way, which can help reduce some symptoms.  We can recommend breathing exercises, advise on physical activity and explain how to manage wheezing and other symptoms.

        Welcome to the world of Pilates. Leaders in our craft, Body In Motion offer a wide variety of different group classes from studios at our Mount Maunganui, (Grenada Street), Bethlehem & Pyes Pa clinics. Pilates classes consist of both Reformer and Matwork sessions, often integrating the use of small props to facilitate or intensify good movement. Starting at the very beginning, we have low intensity starters classes to focus on restoring core strength and flexibility, through to more intermediate & advance classes where clients are really ready to experience the full benefits of a Pilates workout. Kids, Prenatal Mums, Athletic Enthusiasts and even Seniors are hosted to weekly classes programmed especially for them! A number of our physiotherapists hold specialist qualifications in fitness training and in Pilates and all our instructors have the expertise and can-do approach to help you rehabilitate from injuries and overcome pain issues allowing you to get moving and tackle life with renewed energy! Come and learn how to move your body efficiently and appreciate the original intention of Pilates as a mind – body connection. We offer over 50 classes so there is something for everyone.
